SNAPS

The iPhone had some fun features that Buddy just loves. One of them is staring at the screen and then snapping a photo of ourselves. In this snap we are standing in front of the black walnut tree.

As we continued our stroll we saw the pretty blue chicory bloom. It was decided that it would be a nice addition to our wild flower collection. But we discovered more.
The shadow of the iPhone made it into this snap. Buddy thinks that's ever so cool. See it?
We are going to enjoy the sunny weather and our annual Canadian Thanksgiving.
May your weekend be special for you too.

Dear Heidi, Thank you for your September comment on one of my postings. It's taken me so long to get to your blog and read several of your postings and look at your lovely photographs. I so liked the one in "The First Sunday of Fall."

I look forward to spending more time with you and Buddy.

Peace.

I remember when we used to run like the wind to get to a house in town that had a telephone. If someone called us it would be bad news — someone died or someone was hurt in an accident. And it made me nervous to see my mom, who was heavy-set, wobble as fast as she could, and me running alongside of her, urging her on, wondering what news we would soon hear?

From those beginnings to days like now when almost each man and each woman has a cell phone and one can usually find it stuck on the right ear or on the left. I asked my wife, who do you suppose they talk to all day long?

Anyway, they are handy, I guess, and are getting better, they say, and the pictures are, like your photos, ever bit as good as many seen that were taken by more expensive cameras.
