We traveled to Hannover to visit our auntie, mom's sister.

Her uncle is three years younger. She looks amazing at 91.
Or daughter, aunt, great aunt, great great uncle?
Either way it was an awesome experirnce for us.
I imagine many of you have quite a history too. I know Patty does.

What great photos. So happy you were able to make the trip and capture the moments together. Hope your trip with Buddy will be just as great for the two of you. And thanks for mentioning me. Looks like you and your sister had a great trip... You Aunt really does look wonderful. I'll bet you got LOTS of wonderful information and family history. I wish I had talked to some of my relatives about our family BEFORE they died. I didn't do that --and that makes my work much harder.

Thanks for sharing your extended family with us. The generation before me is gone now, except for one uncle who has Alzheimer's Disease. I can't imagine that the wisdom of age is now supposed to reside in me!!!! I find many of my younger nieces so much wiser than I was at their age. It's wonderful. Peace.
