The First Sunday of this FALL

Today as I strolled along the pond the warm sunshine poured down on me and I felt at peace. It is so humbling. The signs of autumn are all around me now creating a gorgeous colourful tapestry for my eyes to feast upon on. It is this part of the season that I enjoy the most. I love how there's such a melange of vibrant colours spread around me everywhere.
With the cathedral in the background there's a sort of majestic aura to this awesome scenario.
I hope you are enjoying some quiet and peaceful time too. I know mine will be brief now so I must make the most of it. Right?

I love the garden at this time of year. It is overgrown and downtrodden looking. Needs weeding and some love, but I don't care. I just love to enjoy its final days before the frost comes in and kills it all. I like to envision where I should move some things. In the spring it is hard to judge, but once the rains come and everything gets to big for its britches, it is easier to decide where it will flourish next year.

This weekend I hope it is sunny. I think I will give it some TLC and make it ready for the winter months.

I really like the photo you took in the garden. The cathedral in the background is a perfect touch. I also enjoy autumn very much.
