Flora for a Dragon Guy

These beauties are a part of the bouquet that was a gift for hubby. He has made it one more year and is now 72! Today older daughter will come by and we'll go out for dinner. Buddy loves Chinese food and has hinted he hopes we go to the Mandarin. He may just get lucky. It's the year of the Dragon and for hubby that's a good year according to that system. He was born in the year of the Dragon. Do you know the symbol for your birth year?

Dear Kleinste Motte,
I hope Buddy got his wish! I learned from another blog that the year of the dragon is supposedly to be especially auspicious. That's already proven true for your husband who is now enjoying good health.

I was born in 1936--it was the year of the rat!

Peace.

Lovely flowers! Happy Birthday to your hubby! My daughter and I are both year of the dragon. We tease that we are the "dragon ladies" :-) Thanks for your comment on my post. Unfortunately the flowers were from earlier photography in Va and NC, but I was trying to show what I would imagine might be behind that wonderful iris gate...still, we are getting flowers now, as you can see by my next post. Thanks again! Have a wonderful birthday celebration!

Wow, what a beautiful bouquet gift! Their bright colors can brighten the stormy days that we're having now.
Thanks for being the first to comment on my winter blog. I appreciate it so much.
