Still Dancing

Forty two years ago we took our marriage vows and today we are still dancing. Our anniversary falls just three days after our youngest daughter's wedding and we have danced a lot this past weekend. We shall likely just have a quiet little dinner to celebrate this one.

Congratulations! Peggy and I celebrate our 40th in December. Given today's high divorce rate, we're all practically legends in our own time.

Dear Heidi, the photograph you posted is so touching--to see that lovely smile on your face as your dance with your partner of forty-two years. And to dance at your youngest daughter's wedding--such a celebration of life and continuity.

Did Buddy enjoy the wedding?

Peace.

Keep on dancing. Your joints will freeze up if you ever stop. Also: Happy Anniversary.
