COOL

Hopeful, excited and happy. These are some of the words to describe my daughter's feelings about her very first business. She and her partner are almost ready to launch their shop and join the world of enterprise and free trade. Since our family has been much involved (her sister designed the flyer, business cards and t-shirts) I felt I had to do my part and share this event on my blog.

Maybe Buddy's love for dragons influenced their choice of a logo? He likes to think so.

Oh my.

Our granddaughter, served one tour in Iraq, came home and in wasn't long before she bought a tattoo machine. She has one arm covered. A sleeve tattoo I think she called it.

Tattoo parlors were in dives, dark alleys and in the reckless parts of Oakland, California, where I got my two red roses with green leaves. Almost got a court martial over getting it. If it had gotten infected I would have had a court martial.

I think the tattoo programs, Miami Ink and LA Ink with Kat von Dee made them popular again.

Anyway, good luck to her and her new business.

Good luck to your daughter and her partner in their new business. If we lived closer, my stepdaughter and her fiance might have stopped by their tattoo shop.

A most interesting looking business card and t-shirt decal. I'm sure it will draw a lot of attention! :-)

Take care and have a great week :-)

All good wishes for the new business. Having a tattoo artist in the family is probably the only way I'd ever be bold enough to try one. For years I've thought of the bracelt tattoos in THE MISTS OF AVALON...they will remain in my imagination.
